The Official New 7 Wonders of the World (Part 2)

Hi again... part II time.

The Taj Mahal (1630 A.D.) Agra, India

Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the fifth Muslim Mogul emperor, to honor the memory of his beloved late wife Mumtaz Mahal. The mausoleum It is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love and is regarded as the most perfect jewel of Muslim art in India. The emperor was consequently jailed and, it is said, could then only see the Taj Mahal out of his small cell window. Emperor Shah Jahan himself described the Taj in these words:

Should guilty seek asylum here,
Like one pardoned, he becomes free from sin.
Should a sinner make his way to this mansion,
All his past sins are to be washed away.
The sight of this mansion creates sorrowing sighs;
And the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes.
In this world this edifice has been made;
To display thereby the creator's glory.

The Great Wall of China (220 B.C and 1368 - 1644 A.D.) China

The Great Wall of China is a series of stone and earthen fortification in Northern China and was built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by outsiders. It stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia. The Great Wall of China is the largest man-made monument ever to have been built and it is disputed that it is the only one visible from space. And to built this site, thousands have given their lives during the construction. To see the pic just click here.

Petra (9 B.C. - 40 A.D.), Jordan

Petra has been known as historic and archeological city which boasts its rock out architecture and water conduits system. Petra lies in the slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Moreover, a theater, modeled on Greek-Roman prototypes, had space for an audience of 4,000. Petra was chosen by the BBC as one of "the 40 places you have to see before you die” (I surely want to visit this one ^v^). Check out the site in this pic.

Machu Picchu (1460-1470), Peru

Love this one… love this one… Machu Picchu is a pre-Columbian Inca site located 2,430 meters above sea level and lies halfway up the Andes Plateau, deep in the Amazon jungle and above the Urubamba River. Machu Picchu is often referred as “The Lost City of the Incas.” Its primary buildings are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Recently, in January to be exact, heavy rain caused flooding which buried or washed away roads and railways leading to Machu Picchu, trapping over 2,000 tourists in addition to 2,000 locals. The site was temporary closed but was later reopened the following month. Take a look at Machu Picchu.

See you.....

Intuition

Follow your heart..... most of you might has heard a lot about it. But it turned out that your heart hardly lies to you. In another word, it's can be called intuition -  it provides us with beliefs that we cannot necessarily justify - ( I quoted this one). And I know it doesn't occurred to me once, but I had it today.

Allow me to share my story today. As usual working hours, I work on my news - I'm writing about Matt Damon welcomed his fourth baby girl - and nature called so I went to the bathroom. I usually turn on the water but somehow, at that time, I told myself no. Seconds later, the light went off and I heard noises outside. I just knew something happened. Then, my friend knocked, told me to get out as quickly as possible coz next door office was on fire. Pheww.... I just glad I didn't turn on the water coz if I did, I might not hear my friend knocking.

Luckily, it wasn't something serious so no one got injured beside it surely has frightened us. I has also previously struggled to fight what my heart told me to. And as long as I remembered, it didn't turn out good. So maybe, somehow, we all have signals inside us that tell us whenever something wrong happen or when there will be something wrong occur. Just like Jewel sang in her hit track, "Follow your heart/ Your intuition/ It will lead you in the right direction/ Let go of your mind/ Your Intuition/ It's easy to find/ Just follow your hear ... "

Done

Annyeong (^3^)v

Some pictures of stars' embarrassing moments:

My Article Credited in Jawa Pos (^v~)V

http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00035320.html

I wrote this article on September 10 and so proud and thrilled when my bosses told me that Jawa Pos also wrote the same news and they credited Aceshowbiz on their report. But I haven't got a chance to see the Jawa Pos report. Really wish that I have it and keep it as my archive.

Am I Going to End Up Like Eat,Pray and Love?

All right, first I want to inform you that I haven't seen the movie or even read the novel. However, I've seen the preview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and I have to admit that I didn't really interested in it. However, when me and my sisters went out, of my sis told me that she has seen it, telling me it was all about a woman who has lots of plan in her head resulting she can't be happy with her then-life. All right, that scare me a bit.

As far as I know from watching "Oprah", it was about a woman who has a typical happy life with her own family. But somehow, she didn't find it satisfying so she decided to divorce her husband and find the essential of herself. One thing I might share with her is that I have lots of plan in my head also. But doesn't everyone to?

I want to study Mandarin, Korean, and making clay. I want to have my own products sold - well, I'm now but I still waiting for a good result :P - and I desperately want to go abroad. Even if I have to work in a restaurant for three months, I am definitely willing to.

I have to stress here that I'm very happy. Because of my family and my longtime boyfriend Ranno. The best feeling you can have is that when you feel happy, sad, or even anything and you have someone whom you can share with. I'm grateful for everything my right. Gamsa-hamnida Hananim. One last important thing is, I will never let go any of my dreams without letting go anything that makes me feel what I feel right now - light -
